Cooking & Baking
Ever since I was a young girl I have been cooking, baking, and canning. Some of my best memories come from being with my Mom in the kitchen, cooking, baking or canning. I was highly involved in 4-h and the fair and won many Grand Champion, Champion and first place awards in both county and state fairs. I still enter the fair and do quite well. By the year 2023 I want to be in the process of opening a cafe/bakery. I already have an idea of how it should be run. I want to make bonds with my employees so they feel valued. I also want to support the community by hosting monthly 'Global Nights'. On these nights we will have a special menu with cuisine from a specific region of the world. It will be a preset price, and a portion of the profits will go to a local non profit based on employee and customer input. To the right are some different items I have cooked or baked. Don't get too hungry!
